Strangely enough from all the horse racing photos i’ve seen of Frankel, during what has been a stellar year for him, this is my favourite. It was taken as he cantered down to the start for the 2000 Guineas way back in May. Away from the stands and the expectant crowd, a few moment for Tom Queally to gather his thoughts and for all those connected to the horse to just pray everything goes to plan. A few minutes later we all knew we’d seen something very very special.
